Since joining The Boston Consulting Group, Michael Rüßmann has supported numerous high-tech, IT, and telecommunication companies. His focus at BCG is primarily on the topics of strategy, distribution, product development, and digitalization in industries such as automotive, transport/logistics, health care, and mechanical engineering.

He is also one of BCG's experts on Industry 4.0, the Internet of Things, and digital transformation. Since 2013, he has lead the Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice in Germany and Austria.

Since 2016, Michael has served on BCG's German management team and is responsible for business development, technology, and strategy.

Prior to joining BCG, Michael worked for several years as a senior manager in the strategy practice of Accenture, as a senior product manager at Siemens Mobile Networks, and as a software engineer at Nortel Networks.
