Paul Goydan leads The Boston Consulting Group’s Energy practice in North America and is a member of the Operations practice. He leads the firm’s global work in unconventional oil and gas.

Since joining BCG in 2005, Paul has worked closely with clients throughout the energy sector—including international majors, independents, and national oil companies—on issues of business development, organizational efficiency, and operational improvement. He has also worked on transformational organizational restructurings and mergers for some of the largest companies in the Fortune 500.

Paul’s experience includes numerous projects related to capital efficiency in drilling and completions, plant and refinery operations and profitability, oil field operations, global-portfolio reviews, supply chain strategies, and postmerger integration.

Before joining BCG, Paul worked for Deloitte.
