Peter Daniel is a member of Boston Consulting Group's Global Advantage and Corporate Finance & Strategy practices. He supports clients on equity investments, partnerships, and joint ventures, and leads the firm's work on these topics in North America.
Peter has over 20 years of experience in management consulting and advisory services, and has worked on over 200 equity investments, partnerships, and joint ventures worldwide, with a combined $50 billion in transaction value.
His work typically falls into one of three buckets: translating business strategy into investment and partnering strategy; planning, structuring, and implementing new ventures and partnerships; and reviewing and improving existing ventures and partnerships. In all cases, the goal is to help clients drive top-line growth, access complementary capabilities, capture synergies, and/or share risk in a faster, less expensive, and less committed way than traditional M&A.
Prior to joining BCG, Peter worked for 15 years at the boutique consulting firm Water Street Partners (now Ankura) and as an independent consultant and senior advisor. Prior to that, he worked for the Corporate Executive Board (now Gartner).
