Prasanna Santhanam is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) industry practice and the Technology & Digital Advantage (TDA) functional practice. He is currently BCG’s head of strategic technology partnerships for Asia-Pacific Japan, guiding the business to collaborate with BCG’s technology alliance partners in order to design and build win-win propositions.

Prasanna leverages and builds on his earlier experience serving these technology firms as an advisor across Southeast Asia, India, and the US. He drives the development, commercialization, and execution of joint technology-enabled programs at scale, combining the best of BCG and tech partner capabilities to deliver transformative change for our common clients.

Prior to this, as a TMT client partner, Prasanna served clients extensively on digital enablement, new digital venture builds, large scale advanced analytics/AI/ GenAI programs, end-to-end turnaround, business value engineering, and B2B sales effectiveness. He specializes in transformations leveraging cloud, networking, infrastructure, data analytics/AI-ML, and security platforms.

Since joining BCG, Prasanna has worked in Southeast Asia, India, UK/Western Europe (as part of BCG's Ambassador mobility program), and the US, giving him experience in both emerging and mature markets. Before coming to BCG, he worked in structuring and trading interest rate derivatives at HSBC Bank, London.
