Ricardo Pierozzi is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Energy practice with particular emphasis on energy transition and bioenergy. He has over 20 years of experience as an executive leading enterprise-wide transformation programs, and as a consultant serving clients across the entire transformation cycle on growth strategy, digital, organization effectiveness, value proposition, operational efficiency, regulation, and M&A. He is an expert in integrated energy distribution, biofuels, hydrogen/PtX, and power grids.

Ricardo recently helped define the ESG strategy for a main integrated power company, defined and worked on biomethane sourcing strategies and opportunities, and helped define energy transition investment theses, including hydrogen, biofuels, biomass, and biogas.

Before joining BCG, Ricardo was a partner at Strategy& (formerly Booz & Co.), Director General of João Fortes Engenharia S/A, and Director of Organizational Development CoE for Rede Globo.
