The study, conducted in 2025 by ANFAVEA in partnership with BCG, evaluated the ‘cradle-to-grave’ greenhouse-gas emissions of the Brazilian automotive value chain in comparison with other geographies. Based on public references and BCG’s experience, the work sought to support discussions on opportunities and challenges for decarbonizing the national automotive sector.
