Romain de Laubier is a core member of The Boston Consulting Group’s Industrial Goods practice and leads the firm’s building materials sector worldwide. He also leads the Global Advantage practice in Paris and is a core member of the Strategy practice. Romain is an active member of BCG’s Center for Digital in Industrials.

Since joining BCG in 2006, Romain has worked with clients in the industrial goods sectors of construction, mining, building materials, and building material distribution. With his expertise in strategy, organization, cost reduction, and turnaround, Romain has been able to help clients on cases involving R&D portfolio review, marketing plans, and due diligence. He has worked on several digital projects including building digital centers and capabilities for his clients creating strategic globalization plans, evaluating new growth opportunities, conducting portfolio reviews, and creating growth and acquisition plans.

Prior to joining BCG, Romain was a financial analyst at Calyon in New York.
