Amanda Luther is the North America AI and Functional Practice Area (FPA) team leader, as well as the global leader for AI and Digital Transformation at Boston Consulting Group. She has co-led the firm’s Build for the Future research since 2021. Those findings have been picked up by Forbes, Fortune, and The Wall Street Journal. Amanda is a member of BCG X, the firm's tech build and design unit, as well as the Tech & Digital Advantage practice.
Since joining BCG in 2007, Amanda has gained expertise on digital, data, and AI topics, serving clients in industries including retail, restaurants, consumer packaged goods, and the public sector. Her client work typically involves both AI and digital strategy, as well as end-to-end implementations while managing teams of product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to deliver transformative products.
Her recent efforts include AI strategy and blueprints, agentic commerce strategy and implementation, legacy systems modernization, personalized marketing execution, and AI-driven store labor model rollouts. Amanda co-founded the Austin office in 2019 and now serves as the Austin office leader.
