Sebastian Ullrich is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) and People & Organization (POP) practices, with a strong focus on the telecommunications industry. Sebastian advises clients on B2B growth, large-scale transformation, infrastructure optimization, and sustainability. He has particular expertise in organizational and people transformation, both within TMT and across industries.

In addition to his role as office leader in Düsseldorf, Sebastian leads the intersection of the TMT and POP globally and talent and skills within the People & Organization practice across Europe, the Middle East, South America, and Africa (EMESA). He also leads Future of Work in Central Europe and co-leads BCG’s work on GenAI in People & Organization.

Sebastian has deep expertise in strategic workforce and skills planning and has led more than 50 projects in this field for clients across industries globally. His work also focuses on optimizing the HR value chain and rethinking how work gets done for both office-based and deskless workers. Beyond his client work, Sebastian leads BCG’s “First Generation” diversity initiative in Central Europe, which focuses on the integration, development, and recognition of colleagues who are the first in their families to earn an academic degree.
