Sharon Marcil leads Boston Consulting Group in the US, Canada, and Mexico. She previously served as BCG’s chief marketing officer, the chair of BCG’s Global Client Team, the global head of the Consumer practice and regional head of the Public Sector practice.

Since joining BCG in 1993, Sharon has helped transform some of the world's largest private and public sector organizations, including the largest health care and consumer products companies on post-merger integrations and restructuring efforts. She has brought corporate best practices to the public sector, helping change agents bring innovation to government entities.

Sharon has worked with the Partnership for Public Service’s Center for Presidential Transition since 2011, and currently serves on the Partnership’s board of directors. She was named by Consulting Magazine as one of the “Top 25 Most Influential Consultants” and one of five “Women Leaders in Consulting.” Sharon is a board member of the Duke Trinity College board of visitors. Prior to joining BCG, Sharon worked for Goldman Sachs in mergers and acquisitions.
