Sharon Marcil
Sharon Marcil leads Boston Consulting Group in the US, Canada, and Mexico. She previously served as BCG’s Chief Marketing Officer, Chair of BCG’s Global Sales and Revenue Management Team, North America and Global Head of the Consumer practice, and Regional Head of the Public Sector practice.
Since joining BCG, Sharon has led transformation efforts at some of the world’s largest private and public sector organizations, assisting the largest global consumer and retail companies on major end-to-end transformations on strategy, organization, revenue, and cost management. She has also brought corporate best practices to the public sector, helping change-agents bring innovation to government entities.
Sharon is a board member of both the Duke University Board of Trustees and the Partnership for Public Service. She was named one of the "Top 25 Most Influential Consultants" and subsequently was named one of five "Women Leaders in Consulting" by Consulting Magazine in 2007. Prior to joining BCG, Sharon worked for Goldman Sachs & Co. in mergers and acquisitions.
