Sharon Marcil currently serves on The Boston Consulting Group’s Executive Committee and leads the government topic in the Americas. She is also a member of the BCG Henderson Institute's Innovation Sounding Board, which is dedicated to supporting, inspiring, and guiding upstream innovation at BCG. Previously, she led the firm's Consumer practice and Women's Initiative.
Since joining BCG in 1993, Sharon has worked extensively with a broad range of packaged-goods, consumer services, and retail companies on various strategic issues.
A leader in driving fundamental transformation at BCG, Sharon was named one of the Top 25 Most Influential Consultants in 2007 by Consulting magazine. In the same year, she received a special award for client service at the magazine's first annual Achievement Awards honoring women leaders in consulting.
Sharon serves on the board of directors of Women for Women International, a nonprofit humanitarian organization dedicated to helping female survivors of war, poverty, and injustice.
Prior to joining BCG, Sharon worked for Goldman Sachs in mergers and acquisitions.
