Sukand Ramachandran on Helping Machines Help Humans
Sukand Ramachandran is part of BCG’s Financial Institutions practice and advises financial institutions and clients across industries on digital and technology-enabled transformations. He leads the firm's corporate banking segment in Europe, as well as its global work on technology and operations in capital markets.
Since joining BCG in 2006, Sukand has focused his work on wholesale banks worldwide, helping them transform how they engage with customers, and harness technology, business processes, and organization design to transform how they operate. He has deep experience in customer service transformations and in deploying intelligent automation technologies (artificial intelligence, robotics automation, etc.) to drive a step change in how value is delivered within businesses and to customers.
In addition, he has served clients in a wide range of industries including airlines, telecom, media, technology, and utilities on customer service, technology, and digital transformations.
Sukand has advised a range of clients on contact center transformations, sales force effectiveness, improving revenues through smart pricing, customer centric transformations using digital tools, and transforming the technology function, among other topics.
Prior to joining BCG, Sukand worked at Siemens and Citibank.
