Tatsuya Takeuchi

Tatsuya Takeuchi co-leads Boston Consulting Group’s People & Organization practice in Japan. He is also a core member of the firm’s Financial Institutions, Insurance, and Tech & Digital Advantage practices. Since joining BCG in 2004, Tatsuya has worked extensively with clients in a wide range of financial institutions, including banks, securities firms, insurance companies, and nonbank financial service providers.

He has in-depth experience developing management, business, AI, digital, and IT strategies; and leading operational transformations and climate change initiatives. Beyond the financial sector, Tatsuya has supported clients in various industries in driving organizational and people transformation aligned with strategic and business transformations. His recent work includes people strategy, culture transformation, leadership development, and organizational purpose, along with reforms in organization, talent, and governance to enable AI transformation.

Prior to joining BCG, Tatsuya worked in the IT field at Deutsche Bank Group.
