Thijs Venema is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Energy and People & Organization practices, serving clients in Benelux, the UK, Germany, and globally. He leads the Energy practice for Amsterdam, and is an expert on energy transition and (digitally driven) organizational transformations

Thijs's recent experience includes advising energy utilities, grid operators, transmission operators, and governments on strategy, transformation, and operational improvements in their retail, asset development, operations, project development, and field force operations. He also advises leading companies on organizational effectiveness, leveraging his extensive transformation experience in large-scale change programs for multiple clients.

Prior to joining BCG, Thijs worked for 1.5 years as a buyer/category manager for Tesco UK.
