Seit er zu The Boston Consulting Group kam, hat Michael Rüßmann zahlreiche High-Tech-, IT- und Telekommunikationsunternehmen unterstützt. Sein Schwerpunkt bei BCG sind die Themen Strategie, Vertrieb, Produktentwicklung und Digitalisierung in Branchen wie Automotive, Transport/Logistik, Gesundheitswesen und Maschinenbau.
Außerdem ist er einer der Experten von BCG für Industrie 4.0, Internet of Things und digitale Transformation. Seit 2013 leitet er die BCG-Praxisgruppe Technology, Media & Telecommunications in Deutschland und Österreich.
Seit 2016 ist Michael im deutschen Management Team von BCG aktiv und verantwortlich für die Bereiche Geschäftsentwicklung, Technologie und Strategie.
Bevor er zu BCG kam, war Michael einige Jahre lang als Senior Manager in der Strategy-Practice von Accenture, als Senior Product Manager bei Siemens Mobile Networks und als Softwareingenieur bei Nortel Networks tätig.
