Christine Barton is the North America lead for Boston Consulting Group’s global CEO Advisory practice, where she works closely with CEOs, candidates, next-generation leaders, and directors. She has published extensively on CEO agenda topics across the unique role of the CEO, board/CEO partnership, the CEO as capital and portfolio allocator, the CEO as chief simplifier, and the CEO as chief energy (and belief) officer, as well as the subject of CEO and director burnout.

For the past 28 years, Christine has worked with CEOs and executive teams in consumer, retail, fashion and luxury, home, beauty and medical aesthetics, consumer health and wellness, and consumer private equity. She spent decades as part of BCG’s regional and global consumer leadership team, including as the industry global CMO.

Christine focuses on topics such as transformation, profitable growth and balanced value creation, organizational restructuring, and funding the growth journey. She is skilled at understanding CEO ambition and resourcing, developing CEO personal action plans, strengthening stakeholder partnerships, and stewarding value creation. Her topic expertise includes crafting enterprise, brand, and regional strategies; elevating leadership; changing organizational behaviors and outcomes; and ensuring execution.
