Cliff Grevler joined Boston Consulting Group in 1997 and is a Managing Director & Senior Partner. He is the former leader of BCG’s Consumer and Retail practices, and he continues to work with CEOs and senior executives of leading retailers and consumer products companies on the key issues facing their organizations.
Skilled at defining winning business strategies and change-management programs, Cliff brings intellectual and process leadership skills to tackle complex, ambiguous business problems. He has deep experience in creating and leveraging consumer insight to drive business and operational strategies.
Cliff brings his passion for sports to the board room by supporting several sports organizations across North America address the strategic issues facing their organizations. He has worked across leagues and teams in the NHL, NBA, MLS, and CFL. He was a governor for Golf Canada for many years and has contributed to committees for Olympic bids and the Grey Cup.

What lies ahead for consumer spending, the engine of Canada’s economic recovery?
BCG’s Cliff Grevler explains to The Globe and Mail that Canadians entered the current crisis with higher household debt than at the beginning of the 2008 recession. “It is therefore hard to see a quick recovery like we had during the last recession that is led by the Canadian consumer,” he says.
