Daniel Shadd is a member of Boston Consulting Group's global Consumer Products leadership team and leads the Marketing, Sales & Pricing practice in Canada. Since joining the firm in 2004, the majority of Dan's engagements have involved leading companies through transformative change to accelerate growth, build next-gen operating capabilities, and unlock synergy potential from acquisitions.
He has specific expertise in commercial excellence, including channel strategy and go-to-market advantage, price margin management, operating model design, and omnichannel sales. He has also supported a number of clients on their digital and data strategies, including unlocking value from advanced analytics, driving e-commerce growth, and launching innovative new digital businesses. Before joining BCG, Dan worked in corporate finance at a large investment bank, advising high tech companies on mergers and acquisitions, and a variety of other capital markets and strategic financial issues.
