Edmond Rhys Jones co-leads Boston Consulting Group’s Center for Climate & Sustainability Policy & Regulation and is a core member of the Climate & Sustainability practice. Since joining BCG in 2013, Edmond has worked with public, private, and social sector clients, focusing on the public policies required to accelerate the global transition to a low-carbon, nature-positive economy.

Edmond has led BCG’s support to UN Climate Action since 2019, providing strategic advice and analytical support to successive COP Presidencies and High-Level Champions, and helping corporates make sense of the commercial implications of the COP process and the national policies that flow from it. He builds on many years’ experience helping government departments develop and deliver effective policy.

Edmond is on the UK Board of the Centre for Public Impact, a BCG foundation that acts as a learning partner for governments, public servants, and changemakers leading the charge to reimagine government for the future. Before joining the firm, Edmond spent several years in the British Diplomatic Service, with postings in Washington and Islamabad. He has a background in international and public law.
