Jean-François Bobier is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Technology Advantage practice with a special focus on data and digital platform.

Since joining BCG in 2004, Jean-François has partnered with clients across multiple industries on projects related to digital transformation, the Internet of Things, and IT organization and governance.

Jean-François has gained broad experience in digital transformation, working in topics from strategy development to pilot implementation. He focuses in particular on hardware-to-software transformation in R&D. His project includes telecom set-top boxes and internet access devices, train signaling, and automotive OEM software engineering.

Jean-François has also worked with clients on multiple projects related to the internet of things, notably developing strategies for connected cars, industrial internet, and IoT platform strategy. He brings his expert advice to a large number of multinational clients on IT and governance projects.

Prior to joining BCG, Jean-François worked in IT for Fidelity Investments and IBM Business Consulting Services.
