BCG Life

BCG’s first office in the Nordics opened in Stockholm in 1989, followed by Helsinki in 1995, Oslo in 1996, and Copenhagen in 1998. These offices have quickly grown to become leading premium consultancies in the Nordics, serving a wide range of top companies in industries, including technology, media, and telecommunications, financial services, public sector, industrial goods, health care, and energy. Working with us means working with some of the brightest minds in business to support the most prominent companies in the world in their quest for success. Our offices aim to maintain a family feeling, no matter how much we grow.

Office Locations

BCG’s four Nordic offices are located in world-class cities, known for great restaurants, enchanting architecture, and the most modern conveniences. Our neighborhoods and views include Copenhagen's harbor, Oslo’s Henrik Ibsens gate 4, the University of Helsinki, and Stockholm’s Royal Opera and Royal Castle.

Who We Work With

Our consultants are passionate and talented people of all backgrounds, ethnicities, areas of expertise and experiences. Their interests and backgrounds are fundamental to our success, as they enable us to analyze problems from a broader perspective and challenge established ways of thinking. In addition to helping our clients, one of BCG’s core values is to give back to society, by focusing on how we can take corporate social responsibility. BCG’s Nordic offices have a very dedicated social impact agenda. Each year, we do several social impact projects with our partners, including UN Women, Food Nation, +Impact, INDEX: Design to Improve Life, Mind Your Own Business, The Ocean Cleanup, State of Green, the Norwegian Refugee Council, and the New Children’s Hospital in Helsinki.

Programs

BCG’s Nordic offices participate in the BCG Ambassador and Associate Abroad programs, which make it possible for our consultants to experience life in other BCG offices either as temporary transfers for 6 to 12 months, or for more permanent transfers from 12 to 24 months. Through BCG’s multiple mobility and secondment programs, our consultants have enjoyed prolonged transfers in Sydney, Shanghai, Dallas, Chicago, New York, Kuala Lumpur, and more.

Office Culture

BCG in the Nordics’ culture fosters individualism and uniqueness. Our people come from very different backgrounds, but together they have a common goal. We know that our people are the key to our success, and we know that lifting as a team is more important than individual performance. As a result, the office culture is an open atmosphere in which everyone’s opinion matters—no matter the seniority. This is what gives the office a “one big family” feeling. In addition to casual social gatherings, we have tennis tournaments, sports events, black-tie parties, summer dances and outings, and winter ski trips.
