Anders Madsen leads The Boston Consulting Group’s materials and process industry business in the Nordic region and works primarily with clients in industrial goods on issues related to logistics, project management, and services. He is the leader of BCG’s People and Organization practice in Sweden and a member of the global Operations and Corporate Development practices.
Since joining BCG in 2007, Anders has driven large-scale change for many of the most prominent B2B companies in the Nordics. Most of his work focuses on helping clients with transformations, specifically reorganizations or profit increases through supply chain and procurement optimization or restructuring. Anders also has deep expericence in postmerger integration and full-potential plans in private equity, including commercial due diligence efforts.
Prior to joining BCG, Anders conducted his master’s thesis at Novo Nordisk, where he tested the application of lean production principles in R&D. He previously worked for a Danish management consulting firm, focusing primarily on lean improvement programs.

We identify global industry patterns and evaluate how Nordic companies perform compared to their industry peers and share five steps that are necessary for companies to come out stronger.
