Peter Clearkin joined Boston Consulting Group in September 2020. He is a member of the firm’s Industrial Goods practice and has a strong focus on mining, especially performance improvement and turnarounds for large industrial and mining clients. In these engagements, Peter advises clients on company strategy, organizational redesign, cost reduction, productivity improvement, and mine strategy and planning.

He has worked with companies in almost all commodities in South Africa and Africa, in mechanized, conventional, open-cast, and underground operations.

Prior to joining BCG, Peter was a partner at Bain & Company South Africa where he drove that company’s mining and industrials work in South Africa and Africa for over 15 years.
