A recent BCG survey found that leaders overestimate employees’ enthusiasm for AI by more than two times. This disconnect is a symptom of a broader blind spot: 75% of executives believe their company is employee centric, but only 23% of individual contributors agree.

In this article, Deborah Lovich, Stephan Meier, and Chenault Taylor discuss the connection between successfully adopting AI and having an employee-centric organization. Research shows that companies that listen to employees and work with them to cocreate solutions see stronger AI buy-in and engagement. In fact, employee-centric organizations are seven times more likely to succeed with AI.

The lesson is simple but profound: the future of AI isn’t just about smarter machines, it’s also about more human organizations.
