Jacopo Brunelli leads Boston Consulting Group’s Operations practice in Italy, Greece, and Turkey, and is a core member of the Industrial Goods practice. He is the leader of the Shipbuilding Topic area. 

Over the course of his career, Jacopo has worked with a wide range of industrial goods companies, leading international projects in the automotive sector, as well as for clients aerospace, defense, and shipbuilding. He has acquired particularly deep experience in production, supply chain, and engineering. 

Since joining BCG in 2012, Jacopo has focused on the restoration of productive and distributive footprints, as well as lean and operational excellence, quality systems, logistics, supplier development, cost reduction, standardization, and process optimization. He is one of BCG’s foremost experts in operations and turnaround, and he has developed significant expertise around Industry 4.0. 

Before joining BCG, Jacopo worked for Porsche Consulting in Germany and Italy. He began his career at ThyssenKrupp Technologies, where he was a project manager for the planning and creation of complex production implants.
