Duncan Melville is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Industrial Goods and Corporate Finance & Strategy practices. His client work focuses on all aspects of natural resources, including oil and gas, metals and mining, and utilities and infrastructure. He has experience in mined commodities including copper, gold, metallurgical coal, potash, and zinc.

Duncan has experience in a broad set of functional topics. He has supported finance, HR, and technical functions, with an emphasis on strategy, shareholder value creation, and office of the CFO topics. He also has experience working with clients on operations and large capital projects, both pre-sanction and post-project reviews.

Outside of BCG, Duncan is equally committed to his involvement in the community as the current Sports & Major Events Committee Chair for Tourism Calgary, and a Board Member of YMCA Calgary. He was previously Board Chair of Distress Centre Calgary.

He is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the New York State Bar. Before joining the firm, Duncan worked in infrastructure private equity.
