Ron Soonieus is a Senior Advisor for Boston Consulting Group, and a globally recognized expert on board practice and corporate governance with a particular focus on the interaction of governance, corporate strategy, ethical decision making, and the evolving relationship between business and society.
Ron advises owners, boards, and senior executives on how governance can move beyond compliance to become a source of strategic clarity, leadership effectiveness, and long-term value creation. His work helps boards and organizations design governance systems that support responsible growth and high-quality judgment, particularly in complex and uncertain environments.
Ron holds senior affiliations with the INSEAD Corporate Governance Centre and the INSEAD Ethics & Social Responsibility Initiative (ESRI). He is co-founder and chair of the Radix think tank for business, politics, and society, and serves as a supervisory board member of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.
He is a frequent speaker and author on topics including governance strategy, ethical leadership, and board decision making.
