Steffen Simon is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Health Care practice, as well as a leader in the health care team for BCG X, the firm’s tech build and design business. Steffen worked at the firm in Munich from 2016 to 2020 before leaving to found Carealytix, a disease management platform. He returned to BCG in January 2023.
Steffen’s work is focused on corporate and private equity clients in health tech/health care IT, and health care. Under the BCG X banner, he is a leading member of the GAMMA and AI/GenAI@scale teams. Steffen is co-author of multiple publications in the artificial intelligence, medical technology, and VC space.
In addition to his time at BCG and as a health tech entrepreneur, Steffen has held digital health and commercial leadership positions at Siemens Healthineers, and was an investment manager at Allianz Capital Partners, Allianz Group’s private equity business.
