Stiene has led projects across various industries for German and international clients that have focused on the design, implementation, and integration of quantitative approaches and advanced analytics methods.

For example, Stiene developed a money laundering detection system for a large German bank and a product recommendation engine for an international jewelry reseller. She also optimized the advertising campaign for a large German supermarket chain, designed a credit decision and pricing engine for a large Canadian bank, and developed a demand forecasting approach for an international tire manufacturer. Her methods include machine learning, time series analysis, and models based on stochastic processes.
