Jens Burchardt is Boston Consulting Group's global expert on climate impact and low-emission technologies. 

Since joining the firm in 2010, Jens’s work has focused mostly on helping companies prepare for challenges and opportunities in the low-carbon economy. He has led numerous projects on climate strategy, emission reduction, and energy transition for clients in energy, industry, and the public sector, including one of the most comprehensive assessments of national emissions reduction potential ever developed. He has also worked extensively on assessing future potential paths and winning strategies for low-carbon technologies such as hydrogen, power-to-x, and CCUS. 

Jens is the author of several landmark BCG publications on climate change, the energy transition, and related topics, which are regularly cited in national and international media. He also speaks regularly in front of policymakers, management boards, and at industry events on topics around climate change, emission abatement, and carbon policy.
