Jeffrey Gao leads the Operations practice for Boston Consulting Group in Greater China. He is also a core member of the Industrial Goods practice, focused on the automotive industry. He has consulted with leading automotive OEMs and parts suppliers, as well as industrial goods companies in China and globally.

Jeffrey works with clients on procurement, R&D, operation transformation, cost reduction, and sales operations. He is committed to helping them achieve both early benefits and long-term organizational empowerment. At BCG, he has supported several MNC and local automotive OEMs across multiple topics, including full transformation, procurement optimization, design to value, distribution strategy, market entry strategy, branding, product launch, governance, and organization.

Prior to joining BCG, Jeffrey worked at Dow Chemical.
