James Gott is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Consumer practice. He works with retail and consumer products clients on growth strategy, consumer insights, network design, and digital transformation. James is a leader in diversity, equity, and inclusion, and currently leads Pride@BCG in Canada.
James has significant experience helping retailers build capabilities for an increasingly omni-channel reality–including network optimization, store redesign, and assortment localization. In consumer products his focus areas span consumer insights, demand-centric growth, and category strategy.
James has held many leadership positions at BCG in Canada including Toronto recruiting director. Before joining the firm, he worked in strategy and operations at a closely held CPG company.
