Norihiko Sano focuses on innovation strategy and is a core member of both the Corporate Finance & Strategy and Consumer practices at Boston Consulting Group.

Much of Norihiko's work has focused on innovation in the health and wellness system—from agriculture to food ingredients and packaged foods and digital services. In addition to his experience in research and product development, he has proficiency in business strategy, technology strategy, ecosystem builds, and capital allocation and transactions.

Within his focus on innovation, he has worked on a broad range of topics including R&D strategy, business model innovation, trend analysis, incubation strategy, innovation processes and organization, as well as agile innovation.
