Matt Langione is core member of the Technology, Media & Telecommunications and Technology Advantage practices at Boston Consulting Group where he specializes in bringing research-driven, high-potential "deep tech" to market. Matt’s client work and his publications reside at the nexus of science, business, and policy.

A leading global expert on industrial applications of quantum computing, Matt is the co-author of “Where Will Quantum Computers Create Value–and When?", a frequently cited article on the topic. At BCG, he advises Fortune 500 companies on building quantum computing and other technologies into their digital transformation roadmaps. This forms the basis of his TED talk on “The Promise of Quantum Computers.” Matt has addressed audiences at all of the major conferences in the field, and has helped steer US Government policy and investment in quantum computing through the Quantum Economic Development Consortium (QED-C), and the Government Accountability Office (GAO).

Matt previously worked in Hollywood as an agent at the United Talent Agency, and as a teacher and coach at boarding schools Phillips Academy Andover and Deerfield Academy.
