François Tibi is a core member of The Boston Consulting Group’s Energy practice, and he leads the oil cluster across Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. He also co-leads the firm’s topic development on large-capex-project management. He is also a member of BCG’s Corporate Development, Operations, and Strategy practices.

Since joining the firm in 2000, François has worked extensively in the areas of upstream oil and gas, power utilities, and energy trading, helping executive teams drive change and unlock the potential of their businesses.

He has particularly deep experience in energy trading and management of large-capital projects.  In energy trading, he has helped clients define their trading strategies and evaluate and realize growth opportunities, as well as optimize the interfaces between trading and asset entities. In large-capital-project management, he has first-hand experience leading energy companies in critical project-recovery efforts, in both power and oil and gas, and orchestrates BCG's offering to energy clients in the space.
