Max Nitsche is a core member of the Financial Institutions practice and a member of the payments team at Boston Consulting Group. He is an expert in capabilities strategy, M&A, risk management, and compliance in payments and fintechs for German-speaking Europe and the Nordics. He joined the firm in May 2022.

Before coming to BCG, Max worked at Nets Group as Chief of Staff to the CEO of Merchant Services (payment division) and as Head of the Risk Taskforce which was established during Covid-19. Before that, he worked for five years in consulting at Bain & Company.
