Rei Tanaka joined Boston Consulting Group in 2020. He leads the firm’s Risk & Compliance practice in Japan. He is also a core member of the firm’s Financial Institutions, Insurance, Transformation, Operations, Global Advantage, and People & Organization practices.
Rei has worked extensively with clients in the financial services industry, including banking, securities brokerage, insurance, and fintech. His recent experience includes transformation, governance, risk management, crisis management, compliance, digitization, and globalization.
Prior to joining BCG, Rei worked at FTX Japan K.K., PwC in the US, Bearing Point (formerly KPMG Consulting), and Industrial Bank of Japan (currently Mizuho Financial Group).
