Michael Choy joined Boston Consulting Group in 2005 and has worked in the New Jersey, San Francisco, and Shanghai offices. He is a leader in BCG's work on innovation in health and public health across government and the private sector. He was one of BCG’s leads in the COVID-19 crisis response and is also one of the firm’s experts in cell and gene therapy.

Michael has extensive experience serving clients around the world on high-impact programs, developing strategies, and delivering innovative solutions, including the US Federal Government, State governments, and industry leaders.

His areas of expertise include public health, Medicaid, biopharmaceutical R&D, data and analytics, designing organizational structures and operating models, and leading large-scale change efforts.

Michael is an infectious disease epidemiologist by training and has held research positions at Stanford and the University of California, San Francisco.
