TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). This mission aligns closely with BCG's own search for new insights that deliver the greatest value to clients and the world.
TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment, and Design converged, and today it covers almost all topics—from science to business to global issues—in more than 100 languages. Its signature blend of innovation, insight, and storytelling has ignited a worldwide community committed to lifelong learning and to sparking positive change.

BCG is proud to be a founding partner of the TED Institute, a unique program launched in 2013. Harnessing TED's world-renowned platform and unique approach to curation and storytelling, the TED Institute enables select organizations to spur their innovation and share their insights with many of the world's most influential minds.
As part of our overall partnership, TED and BCG jointly curate and create TED@BCG events each year in cities around the world. To date, we have hosted eight events—in Singapore, San Francisco, Berlin, London, Paris, Milan, Toronto, and Mumbai.
At our 2019 event in Mumbai, we brought together experts in leadership, biology, technology, sustainable supply chains, and more—to share the stage and explore the theme "Unlock."
At the event, 14 speakers—BCG experts and key influencers—explored what it means to unlock human potential, examining this idea through the lenses of science, technology, social impact, media, business, and more. Videos from the event will be launching soon.
