As a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Financial Institutions practice, Hesham Elmais advises leading banks and financial institutions on corporate strategy, business and operating model transformations, large-scale digital and AI programs, M&A, and performance improvement. He also leads BCG's corporate and small and medium enterprise (SME) banking in the Middle East.
Hesham joined BCG in January 2026, bringing two decades of experience advising financial institutions on strategic transformations. He partners with clients to drive sustainable growth, improve performance, and build future-ready organizations through large-scale programs. He is committed to strengthening BCG's financial institutions capabilities across the Middle East while contributing to the firm's global practice.
Prior to joining BCG, Hesham worked at McKinsey & Company, where he advised leading financial institutions across banking, wealth management, and asset management on strategy and transformation. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Credit Suisse and Crossbridge Capital, building deep expertise in asset and wealth management, investment management, and financial services.
