Khadija Lahlou is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Climate & Sustainability and Travel, Cities & Infrastructure practices. She has extensive experience in decarbonization and low-carbon energy transition, and large-scale urban and infrastructure development. She initiated and leads the “Fresk du Climat” in Casablanca, raising awareness on the key mechanisms driving climate change among diverse stakeholders. She also currently leads the Women Initiative for the Casablanca office.
Since joining BCG in 2021, Khadija has worked on multiple decarbonization/low-carbon energy transition engagements, including the design of the sustainability strategy of a major fertilizers producer, covering decarbonization across scopes 1, 2, and 3, as well as waste management and broader ecosystem impact, or developing the carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) strategy for a major oil and gas player. She also led a portfolio performance review and strategy for a public sector company, spanning multiple industries including financial services, investment, tourism, territorial development, and emerging sectors.
In the urban development field, she led the growth strategy for a large Kingdom of Saudi Arabia region, including developing a ten-year roadmap and governance model, developing a comprehensive diagnosis and a governance model across economic sectors, socio-economic infrastructure, urban systems, and sustainability.
Before joining the firm, Khadija was a Case Team Leader at Emerton, a global strategy consulting firm.
