Ramesh Padala is a core member of the Financial Institutions and Industrial Goods practices at BCG Platinion, a division of Boston Consulting Group focused on IT implementation and risk management services. He is the India lead for GenAI in financial institutions and a member of the leadership team for tech in financial institutions.
Ramesh focuses on new venture builds and large-scale digital transformation leveraging GenAI and AI, for financial institutions and industrial goods companies. He is an expert building new innovative ventures with tech and AI at their core, as well as in large scale tech/digital transformation. He has worked with CEOs, founders, and CTOs to shape their vision and bring predictability to large tech-driven business goals. Recently, much of Ramesh's work has been focused on GenAI, and he has helped companies move past proof of concept and build real foundational capabilities.
Before joining BCG, Ramesh built multiple startups, including being a founding member of Saavn, the most popular Indian music app. He also held positions at Reliance Retail as CTPO, and at Amazon India, as a Director in the tech team, responsible for Prime, Delivery Experience, AdTech, and fraud prevention.
