Carlsberg had a vision: expand beyond beer and establish itself as a global premium beverage company. Its acquisition of Britvic was one of the largest in the company’s history and marked a decisive step toward that vision. The new integrated company would broaden Carlsberg’s footprint into soft drinks and signal a clear ambition to lead across categories.
Delivering on that ambition required a seamless integration that would keep business as usual while rapidly unlocking synergies across markets, functions, and teams. Working alongside BCG, Carlsberg established a rigorous integration engine. From day 1 to day 300, a central integration management office and more than 15 coordinated teams kept the integration aligned, on track, and accountable.
