BCG worked with a G-SIB to develop a digital assets strategy spanning priority use cases, ecosystem requirements, and capabilities required to execute. The engagement established prerequisites to help build products to advance the bank’s digital assets initiatives.
A North American bank with strengths in payments and capital markets engaged BCG to assess the evolving stablecoin and digital assets landscape. Together, we identified priority “win now” opportunities and explored how the institution could take a leading role in shaping the tokenized financial ecosystem.
BCG developed a framework to prioritize digital asset use cases for a European bank, including business and functional designs for selected initiatives. We also supported its application to a stablecoin consortium and explored tokenized deposits, including a proposed transaction involving four entities in the domestic market.
A European retail bank engaged BCG to define its digital assets strategy across all business units. We developed a product roadmap, assessed participation in ecosystem initiatives, proposed the supporting technology strategy, built products and capabilities for prioritized use cases, and worked with business units on digital assets and tokenized money.
