Alex Baxter leads the Northeast system for Boston Consulting Group's Marketing, Sales & Pricing practice and BCG X, the firm's tech build and design unit. He is also the BCG X New York office lead.
Alex has built specialty practice groups at the intersection AI, tech, and marketing, driving health care marketing and AI transformation for the firm in North America. He works extensively with health care and consumer clients on marketing acceleration, AI and digital transformation, org/tech/marketing capability build, and diagnostic and diligence sprints.
Prior to joining BCG, Alex served as both a CEO and CDO for advertising and marketing agencies and media organizations for private equity investors based in Southern California. These companies included OmniForce, RGM Group, and Competitor Group. Before his private equity experience, he led marketing and ad sales teams for large media companies including NewsCorp's Dow Jones & Co., Conde Nast, and WennerMedia (Rolling Stone, Us Weekly, Men's Journal).
