Alex Melnik is a core member of the Industrial Goods practice for Boston Consulting Group’s London–Amsterdam–Brussels system. He focuses on the automotive and mobility industries. He is also a leader in BCG’s procurement work across industries and serves as the procurement lead for the Travel, Cities & Infrastructure practice.

Alex leads large-scale transformations for industrial and automotive clients, with a focus on procurement, supply chain, and cost excellence. He helps clients turn ambitious value targets into disciplined, executable programs, bringing extensive procurement expertise to industrial goods, travel, cities, and infrastructure clients across category strategy, supplier value creation, cost and demand management, and procurement operating model redesign.

Prior to joining BCG, Alex spent nearly a decade at Kenaidan Contracting Ltd., a leading Canadian engineering and construction firm now part of the global Obayashi Group, delivering large-scale civil, transportation, and institutional infrastructure.
