Andrew Asten leads Boston Consulting Group's work in privately owned infrastructure, transport, and construction across Australia and New Zealand. A core member of the firm's Travel, Cities & Infrastructure practice, he is a leading expert on large capital projects. Andrew first joined BCG in 2012 after working as a lawyer at Herbert Smith Freehills, and rejoined BCG in 2018 after stints in commercial strategy and advisory roles in the public sector.

He has led major programs in growth strategy, market entry, digital business build, capital project delivery, and large scale transformation, and has worked for many of Australia’s leading ports, airports, rail and bus operators, and infrastructure owners, as well as public sector transport agencies.

Outside of BCG, Andrew has had a long-running commitment to the not-for-profit sector, with a cumulative total of 22 years of NFP Board experience, including with Anglicare Victoria, Doncare, and the Oaktree Foundation.
