Daniel Tapiador is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Consumer practice and an expert in pricing and AI transformation for consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies. He often focuses on revenue growth management (RGM), helping clients optimize pricing strategies, trade investment, and promotional effectiveness through advanced analytics and (Gen)AI-driven commercial excellence.
Daniel has executed end-to-end RGM transformations for leading Tier 1 CPG clients across a broad range of categories and markets globally, delivering measurable impact on both top-line growth and commercial efficiency. He has driven the full change management journey of these AI-powered solutions, ensuring successful adoption and handover to clients' digital and commercial teams.
Beyond RGM, Daniel has led digital transformations and deployed other AI use cases in the consumer; technology, media and telecommunications; and energy industries. Outside of his work at BCG, he is also an adjunct professor at IE Business School in Madrid.
