James Argent is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Principal Investor & Private Equity and Corporate Finance & Strategy practices, focusing on sports, media, entertainment and live events, and consumer and business services.
James joined BCG in April 2016 in Sydney, is based in the New York office, and previously worked in the London and Atlanta offices. He has experience supporting investors across the full deal lifecycle, including buy-side and sell-side due diligence, as well as with strategic reviews and value-creation strategies for portfolio companies. He has led and supported over 150 commercial due diligences in a variety of industries. He is also active in social impact causes, especially education, and is a board member of Story Factory in Sydney, Australia.
Prior to joining BCG, James worked as a paralegal in the disputes team at Herbert Smith Freehills in Sydney and as a research assistant at the University of Sydney Law School.
