Kjetil Holgeid leads Boston Consulting Group’s Center for Digital Government for Central Europe and the Middle East, as well as the firm’s work in digital public service for that region. He is a core member of BCG’S Technology Advantage practice and serves both private and public clients.
He works with health care, health and public sector, technology, and labor and welfare organizations on large-scale tech and IT transformations covering strategizing for success, recovery and turnaround of tech-enabled transformations, IT project benefits management and IT effort measurement, and large-scale IT CIO advisory including (IT governance and IT cost optimization). Kjetil has conducted extensive research for multiple project management and information systems studies.
Prior to joining BCG in September 2019, Kjetil spent 22 years at Accenture, including the last 11 as a Managing Director, mostly working on recovery of problematic ICT projects across Europe.
